Lake City still a concern Neighbors are worried about groundwater Blue Springs Examiner (MO) Robert Hite October 19, 2005 Greg Perry remains unsatisfied with the quality and quantity of information he is getting from the U.S. Army and the Environmental Protection Agency about contamination of the grounds at the Lake City Army Ammunition Plant. Perry is community co-chairman on the Restoration Advisory Board at the plant. The board met Tuesday. "Fifteen, 20 years down the road, if we don't ask the hard questions ... I don't want that on my conscience," he said. "There's still some definite major concerns." Perry said he and others were not provided documents prior to or in a timely manner before meetings for review or received correspondence ask for from various regulators. Notification lists were also not provided when requested. He also said some reports he did receive were abbreviated and slanted. ...
