Good but not good enough People happy with Wyle cleanup, investigation, but they want more By Amy Frye Inland Valley Daily Bulletin (CA) January 6, 2006 NORCO - Concerned residents are pleased with some recent developments in the Wyle Laboratories cleanup and investigation, but they still want to see more progress. The announcement on Dec. 27 that there would be soil gas and shallow groundwater sampling conducted along Temescal Avenue was long overdue for some residents. Betsy Roberts, whose two daughters attended Norco Elementary, Intermediate and High schools, all on Temescal Avenue, says she has been asking Wyle for these tests for years. "It's a move forward but again, it should have happened over a year ago because we continue to hear about kids getting sick at the schools," Roberts said. ...
