Military cleanup project continues By KRISTEN INBODY Kodiak Daily Mirror January 19, 2006 The restoration of several local former military sites is wrapping up, but years of work remains. A representative from the Army Corps of Engineers, Alaska District, is in Kodiak this week to outline restoration projects and answer questions. Engineer corps project manager Mollie TeVrucht will be joined by a representative from the Alaska Department of Environmental Conservation and a contractor as well, "assuming Augustine (Volcano) doesn't keep us from going," TeVrucht said. ?
