Cadmium/breast cancer study stirs memories of Kelly probe
On the Sleuthing Trail ... CASE: "Roddy, the June 21, 2006, issue of the Journal of the National Cancer Institute featured a report of a study, 'Cadmium Exposure and Breast Cancer Risk.' "According to a Reuters summary of the report, which I read on a Web health site, 'Women with the highest levels of cadmium in their urine have more than a two-fold higher risk of breast cancer than women with the lowest levels. ... This held true after accounting for established risk factors.' "That news brought back memories of your investigation of Kelly AFB contamination several years ago.
