Corps of Engineers to investigate Deep Creek groundwater contamination

SPOKANE -- The Army Corps of Engineers says it will investigate 
groundwater contamination near Reardan reportedly caused by rocket fuel 
from a Cold War missile site.

The decision from the Corps of Engineers to investigate comes after 
repeated inquiries by the Environmental Protection Agency which thinks 
chemicals from a Nike surface-to-air missile defense site are to blame 
for the groundwater contamination.
