From: Peter Schlesinger <pschles3@comcast.net> Lenny, I don't want to take this line out of context to disagree with it. But based on our experience at MMR, the statement below from the 'Developers covet 1940s bombing ranges' article you just forwarded is likely incorrect. That sentence isn't qualified as to where they said they have never found unexploded real bombs. Statements like that shouldn't be allowed to go in press articles unless carefully checked out. Peter Schlesinger "Army Corps personnel say risks are low. They have never found unexploded real bombs, they said." -----Original Message----- From: military-bounces@list.cpeo.org [mailto:military-bounces@list.cpeo.org]On Behalf Of Lenny Siegel Sent: Wednesday, December 13, 2006 2:04 AM To: Military Environmental Forum Subject: [CPEO-MEF] Old Arizona bombing ranges Developers covet 1940s bombing ranges Carl Holcombe The Arizona Republic November 26, 2006 For the entire article, see http://www.azcentral.com/community/pinal/articles/1126Defensesites1126.html --
