ESTCP SOLICITATION NEWS

ESTCP FY 2008 Solicitation

* NEW * The solicitation for the FY 2008 Environmental Security
Technology Certification Program (ESTCP) was released on January 4, 2007.

BAA and NON-DOD FEDERAL ORGANIZATIONS: The Broad Agency Announcement and
Non-DoD Federal Call for Proposals requests pre-proposals in the
following topics only: (1) Military Munitions Detection, Discrimination,
and Remediation; (2) Sustaining Natural Resources on Training and
Testing Lands; (3) Remediation of Contaminated Groundwater; (4)
Remediation of Contaminated Sediments; and (5) Energy Efficiency and
Renewable Energy for DoD Installations.

DOD ORGANIZATIONS: The DoD Call for Proposals requests pre-proposals
related to each of the ESTCP focus areas: (1) Environmental Restoration;
(2) Munitions Management; (3) Sustainable Infrastructure; and (4)
Weapons Systems and Platforms.

The due date for all pre-proposals from both the federal and non-federal
sectors is March 15, 2007.  Projects will be selected through a
competitive selection process.  More information about the solicitation,

REMINDERS ABOUT SERDP SOLICITATIONS

SERDP FY 2008 SEED Solicitation

*     The Strategic Environmental Research and Development Program
(SERDP) is seeking proposals in response to its FY 2008 SERDP
Exploratory Development (SEED) Solicitation released on November 9, 2006
with Statements of Need within the Munitions Management and Sustainable
Infrastructure focus areas.  The SEED program is designed to provide
initial funding for high-risk, high payoff projects.  Funding is limited
to a maximum of $100,000 for one year.  Projects will be selected
through a competitive selection process.  Detailed instructions and the
Statements of Need for both federal and non-federal submissions are
available on the SERDP web site under Funding Opportunities:

SEED proposals from both the federal and non-federal sectors must be

*      REMINDER TO FEDERAL ORGANIZATIONS:  The Strategic Environmental
Research and Development Program (SERDP) is seeking proposals in
response to its FY 2008 Core Solicitation released on November 9, 2006.
 The Core solicitation provides funding in various amounts for
multi-year projects. Detailed instructions and the Statements of Need
for federal submissions are available on the SERDP web site under

 Federal proposals are due March 8, 2007, via the appropriate SERDP
