NASA Picks Spot for Water Plant

The National Aeronautics and Space Administration has selected a 
residential lot in Northwest Pasadena as the site for a water treatment 
plant designed to deal with perchlorate and volatile organic chemicals 
in local water wells.

The location, near the corner of Windsor Avenue and Mountain View 
Street, is owned by the city of Pasadena, but is surrounded on three 
sides by county territory.
