Skeptics call for detailed study of NIH proposal By Justin M. Palk Frederick News-Post (MD) July 10, 2008Members of a local watchdog group want a scientifically valid risk assessment of the government's plans to send biodefense lab workers from Fort Detrick to Bethesda in cases where they may have been exposed to fatal diseases. The National Institutes of Health is preparing to study the environmental effects of the proposal, and took public comment Tuesday night on how broad that study should be.
