Feds say Army site poses no apparent health risks Allan Brettman The Oregonian September 24, 2008VANCOUVER -- Camp Bonneville, a former military training ground east of Vancouver, does not pose an "apparent public health hazard" to people exposed to past chemical use at the site, a federal agency said Tuesday. The Agency for Toxic Substances and Disease Registry, part of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention in Atlanta, issued a final public health assessment. "Exposure to site-related chemicals might have occurred in the past, or may occur in the future," an agency statement says, "but not at levels likely to cause adverse health effects in humans." ...
