Lands No Longer Part of Camp Robinson up for Discussion

The Army Corps of Engineers will conduct a public information session to 
provide details of the Remedial Investigation and Feasibility Study of 
land that used to be part of Camp Robinson.

Camp Robinson is a Formerly Used Defense Site in Pulaski and Faulkner 
counties between North Little Rock and Conway.

Beginning in 1941, Camp Robinson served as an infantry division training 
center and later an infantry replacement training area. Troops were 
trained with rifles, pistols, machine guns, live grenades, mortars and 
various pieces of field artillery.
