Push for affordable housing at Pease gets boost

PORTSMOUTH - The City Council would like to find a way for Pease 
International Tradeport to address the affordable housing issues it 
contributes to.

The council gave its support to Mayor Tom Ferrini's letter to Pease 
officials supporting efforts to engage in discussion about bringing 
affordable housing to Pease - which promises to be a long and complex 
process.

Attempting to change land use regulations at Pease was one 
recommendation from the report of the Mayor's Blue Ribbon Committee on 
Affordable Housing.
