Williamsburg to hold community meeting on PCBs on Camp Peary By Dottie Wikan WVEC (Norfolk, VA) March 31, 2009WILLIAMSBURG - PCBs were discovered at an abandoned WWII swimming pool on Camp Peary used for construction debris disposal in the 1970s, according to officials from Camp Peary. Recent investigations suggest that a stormwater culvert could have carried the toxic pollutant from that site to a drainage area approaching Waller Mill Park/Reservoir. PCBs were found on that pathway under I-64. ...
