Detrick residents upset about response to yellow water

FORT DETRICK -- Residents of the post's single-family houses are asking why their housing management company took nearly a day to issue a boil water advisory after getting complaints about yellow water.

Leslie Miller, who lives on West Huff Boulevard, and Natalie Roberts, a West Fagan Lane resident, said they noticed the discolored water Tuesday afternoon.

Miller said she thought the water was probably safe.

The problem was that no one was giving residents any information, she said.
