violations
Federal agency files whistle-blower suit North County Times (CA) wire services September 10, 2009SAN DIEGO ---- A federal agency has filed a whistle-blower suit on behalf of a worker fired by a government contractor responsible for cleaning up unexploded ordnance on the Camp Pendleton Marine base, court papers show. The suit was filed last week in San Diego federal court by the U.S. Department of Labor's Occupational Safety and Health Administration. It alleges that Alaska-based Bering Sea Eccotech terminated a worker who complained of safety violations after observing two dangerous on-the-job explosions. ....
