Air Force begins final superfund site cleanup K.C. Myers Cape Cod Times (MA) October 9, 2009 2:00 AMMASSACHUSETTS MILITARY RESERVATION - Final plans are in place to clean up the Air Force portion of a federal Superfund site at the Massachusetts Military Reservation. Contamination at the Superfund site was caused by fuel spills and ammunition disposal at the military base. Yesterday, a plan of action to clean up the last two Air Force areas at the site was finalized by the Air Force Center for Engineering and the Environment, the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency and the state Department of Environmental Protection. ...
