Group seeks to reduce 'incompatible' uses around Ellsworth Steve Miller Rapid City Journal (SD) December 6, 2009Eliminating or at least reducing "incompatible" development around Ellsworth Air Force Base is one goal of a new group appointed by Gov. Mike Rounds to help ensure the base's future. The South Dakota Ellsworth Development Authority, created by the state Legislature earlier this year, will hold meetings Monday and Tuesday at the Comfort Inn & Suites convention center in Rapid City to outline its plans and get public comment.
