Bates EnviroGuy, Asbury Park Press (NJ) March 16, 2010Acting state Environmental Commissioner Bob Martin today delayed adopting a limit for perchlorate [1], which can cause thyroid problems, in drinking water, according to a statement. The decision prompted mixed reviews from environmental activists.The DEP had proposed setting a 5 part per billion limit for the rocket fuel ingredient [2]. But Gov.
