Feds try again to sell Army Engine Plant Brittany Lyte Connecticut Post March 15, 2011STRATFORD -- After two failed attempts in as many years to move the Army Engine Plant off the auction block, the federal government is trying again to sell the 78-acre waterfront brownfield through a sealed bidding process. The closing date, according to the General Services Administration's property disposal website, is June 30.
