Fitchburg's TerraTherm wins pact to help clean Vietnam airport By Dan O'Brien/MediaNews Fitchburg Sentinel & Enterprise (MA) March 21, 2012FITCHBURG -- A local company has been awarded a contract to help clean up contaminated soil and sediment at an airport in Vietnam. TerraTherm Inc. announced that it would design a thermal-remediation system for the Vietnamese government that will be used to clean dioxin-contaminated soil and sediment at the Da Nang Airport. The design is expected to be complete by August. Ralph Baker, co-founder of TerraTherm, said after the design phase, the subsequent implementation of the cleanup would last about four years. He expects TerraTherm to have a role in that effort as well. ...
