Pocasset neighbors question base contamination By George Brennan Cape Cod Times (MA) July 24, 2013CAMP EDWARDS - Residents of a neighborhood in Pocasset say the military should do more to let people know about a plume of contamination from Joint Base Cape Cod. At a meeting tonight of the Massachusetts Military Reservation Cleanup Team inside the base boundaries, about a half-dozen residents of the neighborhood near Lily Pond said the Army’s Impact Area Groundwater Study Program should do more outreach about a plan to clean the tainted groundwater. "Coming to the base is very intimidating to people," said Barbara Sanders, a resident of the affected neighborhood. "Why isn't it out in Bourne?
