By George Brennan Cape Cod Times (MA) May 3, 2014CAMP EDWARDS - The Air Force Civil Engineer Center, responsible for part of the cleanup of groundwater contamination at Joint Base Cape Cod, has proposed plans to clean up two sites on the base - a fuel storage area and a fire training area. Public comments on the two proposals will be accepted through May 30. The plans also will be discussed at the May 14 meeting of the Joint Base Cape Cod Cleanup Team. The meeting is scheduled at 6 p.m. at the visitors center, 1805 West Outer Road, on the base. The public can attend the meeting by showing a valid photo ID at the Bourne or Sandwich gates. ...
