EPA seeks input on new contamination remedy Cape Cod Times )MA) October 10, 2014 CAMP EDWARDS —- The federal Environmental Protection Agency is seeking to beef up treatment of contaminated groundwater emanating from a former training range on Joint Base Cape Cod. The proposed remedy recommended by the EPA includes improving the existing treatment system to "contain contaminated groundwater at the base boundary," according to the agency. The remedy also calls for an additional extraction well to treat water.
