Off-Post Contamination a Serious Concern at Ft. Gillem, Georgia by Lenny Siegel CPEO February, 2015Chlorinated volatile organic compounds and petroleum hydrocarbons from Ft. Gillem, a mostly closed Army base near Atlanta, Georgia, have migrated off post. Meanwhile, local activists are more successful than the Army in bringing the neighbors to public meetings.
