Army expected to sell last Ft. Monmouth land by Dan Radel, Asbury Park Press (NJ) February 19, 2016 OCEANPORT - It has taken longer than officials had planned, but the U.S. Army is expected to hand the title over to the remaining half of Fort Monmouth property by this summer. James V. Gorman, chairman of both the Fort Monmouth Economic Revitalization Authority and its real estate committee, said the original transfer target date was at the end of 2015.
