Demonstrators gather at Upper Moreland Navy office to demand blood tests

Robin Campoli’s neighbor has recurring cysts on his body, and he recently paid for a blood test to see if the cysts are a result of PFC contamination from his drinking water.

Results revealed a contamination level 15 times higher than it should be, Campoli said.

“It’s from drinking his own (well) water for 20 years,” she said.

It's the reason Campoli, who lives in Horsham behind the former Willow Grove Naval Air Station, was one of about 50 people demonstrating Sunday at the Navy recruitment office at Huntingdon Valley Shopping Center.
