Minden community voices concerns about Camp Minden's burn chamber

DOYLINE, La. (KNOE 8 News) - Imagine being in constant fear that your home is just seconds away from being blown up.

Well, for a few years now, that's how folks who live near Camp Minden feel, ever since a burn chamber was built on Camp Minden to burn off M6 propellant.

And, on Monday night, the Minden community sat down with members of Explosive Services International, the company in charge of building the burn chamber, to voice their concerns.

Their message was short, but not that sweet - once the contract to remove the propellant is fulfilled, tear the machine down.
