Jet fuel spill wasn't reported for months; defense contractor fined Guam Daily Post August 11, 2018 A military contractor that was recently fined for accidentally spilling 100 gallons of jet fuel and 10 gallons of fuel-contaminated water waited nearly three months before reporting the incident to the Guam Environmental Protection Agency. Areas affected by the jet fuel spill were Agana Heights and Harmon, Guam EPA confirmed Friday. The contaminated areas have since been cleaned up, the agency stated. The spill occurred in August 2017, Guam EPA confirmed.
