Join SERDP and ESTCP on Thursday, October 4 for a webinar detailing results from Department of Defense funded research on the challenges posed by chlorinates solvents in groundwater as well as management options for chlorinated solvent sites. Dr. Andrea Leeson, the Deputy Director of SERDP and ESTCP and the Program Manager for the Environmental Restoration program area, will present an overview of SERDP and ESTCP’s research efforts on managing chlorinated solvents in groundwater, including preliminary findings from a two-day expert workshop in July 2018. Evan Cox, a senior principal remediation scientist at Geosyntec Consultants, will describe advances in electrokinetically-enhanced (EK) amendment delivery to effectively treat chlorinated solvents in silts and clays.
