Plan proposed to take over part of Seneca Army Depot WHAM TV-13 News (Rochester, NY) June 20, 2019 Romulus, N.Y. - A public meeting will be held next month to discuss a proposal to expand a steel manufacturing business on part of the former Seneca Army Depot land. Seneca Dairy Systems is proposing a $19.7 million plan to take over approximately 75 acres of the land. The plan will be broken up into three phases over the course of 10 years and is expected to create roughly 125 new jobs. Seneca Dairy Systems manufactures various steel products, including specialty steels that are used to make equipment for farm and dairy operations, both in the U.S. and abroad.
