First, Dr. Michelle Crimi from Clarkson University will discuss the state of knowledge regarding the treatment of groundwater impacted by AFFF. Second, Mr. Jerry Back from Jensen Hughes, Inc. will discuss the results from a two-year effort to assess the capabilities of environmentally-friendly AFFF alternatives, including both traditional candidates such as fluorine-free foams and non-traditional options such as wetting agents and other water additives.
