18 people file claims against federal government for chemical exposure at George Air Force Base Military dependents allege they have experienced serious health problems from being subjected to 67 different toxins at the shuttered Victorville base By SCOTT SCHWEBKE Orange County Register (CA) September 17, 2020 At least 18 people, most of whom are military dependents, allege in recently filed federal claims they suffer from leukemia, Parkinson’s disease and other serious ailments as a result of exposure to at least 67 different toxic chemicals at the former George Air Force Base.
