This is the third report in a series by CDC/ATSDR. First was Martinsburg, WV, followed by Newcastle DE., now Airway Heights Spokane County | Washington. Check out the dust measurements in people's homes adjacent to these facilities. Two thoughts: sweeping and vacuuming may be hazardous to health. People ought to be warned about the airborne dust while disposing of vacuum cleaner waste. Second, the bases have high levels of PFAS in ground and surface waters. When the military-contaminated creek beds dry, PFAS saturated dust becomes airborne and settles in our homes.
