New Red Hill suit with 2,200 plaintiffs claims contamination of Navy water continues By Mahealani Richardson Hawaii News Now Published: Feb. 5, 2024 HONOLULU - Monique Delgado says she, her husband and their two children got severely sick with rashes, stomach illnesses and difficulty breathing during the 2021 Navy tainted water crisis. “I went to the ER almost dying because my doctor ordered me to go. I was losing all my breath and my heart was racing. Even the doctors in the ER couldn’t explain it,” said Delgado, who lived at Kapilina Beach Homes. They’re part of a new Red Hill lawsuit against the U.S. government with more than 2,200 plaintiffs.
