Webinar Series:  Destruction of Energetic Materials

July 16, 2026 12:00 PM ET (9:00 AM PT) Register Now! Join SERDP and ESTCP on Thursday July 16, 2026, for a webinar highlighting emerging technologies for the destruction, deconstruction, and separation of energetic and other defense-related materials to support safer and more efficient  energetics reduction and disposal practices.  First, Dr. Mark Fuller (APTIM) will discuss the development of cost-effective technologies to demilitarize stockpiles of aging, off-specification, or other military munitions.  Second, Dr. Timothy Long (Arizona State University) will talk about his work to deconstruct and dispose of waste crosslinked polyurethane composites used in DoW systems.  Finally, Dr. Rocio Perez (Georgia Southern University) will present research results on developing novel technologies for the treatment and recycling of fluoropolymer-containing defense materials.  To view speakers’ biographies and to register for this free webinar, please visit https://serdp-estcp.mil/webinars.
