Please tell us why you failed to include radium in your listing of contaminants concerning flyash/coal ash? Radium is one of the most deadly substances known to man because it is "bone seeking". Therefore, it would seem that EIP including radium in your appeal would be extremely important.

Dr. Julie W. and I spent an entire summer working on a prior national Coal Ash Report several years ago with EIP, EJ and Sierra Club. At that time, we did manage to get the collaborative to include radium then.

Our Superfund Site, Uniontown IEL in NE Ohio has many tons of flyash, and Dr. Rice was diligent to raise the radium aspect re. the flyash/coal ash whenever she could!

NOTE: Incase you didn't see the final report, please go to our website: starksummit.org = under reports. The report also indicated our landfill had the highest or among the highest readings offsite for Chromium in the entire nation. Infact, Chromium was central to the point of the coalash report, ( but this isn't listed as well)?

Under the Obama Administration, in 2015, the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency imposed the nation’s first-ever federal rules for controlling coal ash pollution. But now, the Trump Administration is trying to gut these rules and exempt old ash landfills from cleanup requirements. Environmental groups are pushing back.
