With a work and research focus, Brownfields 2001 will encourage and promote the exchange of information, procedures and techniques related to the revitalization of brownfields through its numerous conference sessions and exhibits. If you have information to help others overcome the challenges associated with these properties, Brownfields 2001 is the place for you to present and share your work/research in order to make a difference. There are several types of presentations being sought: Session Speaker Brownfields 2001 Session Speakers will give a formal presentation on their work/research during one of many sessions taking place during the conference. A Speaker is responsible for preparing to speak for approximately 15 minutes during a 90-minute session. They should also be ready to answer questions during the last 30 minutes of their session. Marketplace of Ideas Facilitator Marketplace facilitators will lead an informal, 90-minute roundtable dialogue on a specific brownfields topic. As formal presentations are not the focus of the MOI, audio-visual will not be available for these sessions. Poster Presenter Poster presenters will create stand-alone visual representations of their research for display in the central area of the conference. A scheduled 30-minute availability session will give presenters the opportunity to speak one-on-one with participants about their poster content. (30" X 40" poster size maximum) Presentations are sought in several Subject Tracks, including: Brownfields Basics The nuts & bolts of brownfields redevelopment. What you need to get started. Leveraging Resources Through Partnerships Bringing the right parties to the table for the different stages of development.
