Subject: | [CPEO-BIF] pave and wave projects |
I have been on this list serve for some time now and am hoping that someone can help me. I have been researching brownfields "horror stories" in order to prove that without proper legislation, inadequate cleanups will be more frequent. This has been successful but I now need to find pave and wave projects (cleanups where pavement was put over contaminated sites instead of the excavation of the soil) that have been unsuccessful as well. This has been a harder job considering that most of the information on brownfields is that of positive renewal projects, not of the pitfalls of the process. If you know of any specific examples of poorly implemented pave and wave projects, or have any ideas as to how I should go about researching this, please write back.
