Cal/EPA Announces New Round of Site Assessment Services Cal/EPA is now accepting applications for the Targeted Site Investigation (TSI) program. Funds awarded through the TSI program typically average $50,000-$75,000 per project and are intended to assist local governments, school districts and non-profit organizations with such assessment activities as: - preparing sampling plans - performing field work - preparing follow-up reports or - conducting Preliminary Endangerment Assessment (PEA) To date the TSI program has assisted projects in the communities of Antioch, Burbank, Duarte, Fairfield, Los Angeles, Lynwood, Oakland, Pacoima, Redding, West Sacramento, and Yuba County. The TSI grant application and fact sheet, including information on eligibility criteria, are available for download on http://www.dtsc.ca.gov/SiteCleanup/Brownfields/.
