Council to vote on Wards project By Jason Carmel Davis Dearborn Press & Guide (MI) April 6, 2008 DEARBORN - The Dearborn City Council Monday night will vote on a proposal that, if approved, could lead to the redevelopment of the city's age-old Montgomery Ward site. The council is slated to vote on the measure at Monday's City Council meeting after a previous decision had been postponed due to some logistical issues needing to be further analyzed. The project will feature a 119,000 square-foot medical clinic with comprehensive services and state-of-the-art facilities, said Ken Till, vice president of REDICO — the company overseeing the potential project. Till added there is room for the possibility of expanding by 26,000 square feet in the future. Approval of the project would preserve 300 jobs in East Dearborn and add more than 200 new positions. ...
