Downtown property By Kate Braser Evansville Courier & Press (KY) March 25, 2008 The city of Evansville has filed a complaint in federal court asking a judge to award damages for cleanup of a Downtown property believed to contain contamination from an old dry cleaning business at the site. The former site of Swanson-Nunn Electric Co., at 420 SE Eighth St., reportedly is contaminated by hazardous substances including metals, petroleum, PCBs and chlorinated solvents in the soil and groundwater. ...
