Symmes now owner of Rozzi's site Planning has already started for parks, trails, attractions By Eric Bradley Cincinnati Enquirer (OH) January 2, 2009SYMMES TWP. - This township's mega-park plans for the area near Symmes Park inched forward this week when the township closed on the $6.5 million purchase of the Rozzi's Famous Fireworks site. Though Rozzi's - which plans to move to Clinton County - will operate out of the roughly 50-acre location through December, the township is already looking past that. Ideas for the spot have included a park with walking trails, various sports amenities such as a disc golf course and an outdoor music center. With 61-acre Symmes Park across Lebanon Road and the Meade property across Union Cemetery Road to the north, officials see an opportunity for an interconnected 135-acre parks complex that could serve as a destination location to draw people from all over the region. ...
