By John sievers Lehigh Valley Express-Times (PA) January 30, 2011MILFORD - Rob Castagna has high hopes for the old Curtis Specialty Papers Inc. mill -- perhaps an industrial or residential use to breathe life back into the mothballed site. "When you look at what's sitting there now, it looks like Chernobyl," said Castagna, co-owner of Chestnut Hill Bed and Breakfast in Milford. The shuttered, contaminated mill property "could be one of the nicest pieces of property along the Delaware River," Castagna said last week. The 404 Frenchtown Road site straddles the Milford-Alexandria Township border. It and the adjacent Crown Vantage Landfill have been the focus since fall 2009 of a federally coordinated cleanup under the National Priorities List, or Superfund program. ...
