Cleanup Clearing Way for Falls Factory Mike Desmond WNED Radio (Buffalo, NY) July 12, 20112NIAGARA FALLS, NY (WNED) - Norampac's $430 million dollar cardboard plant in Niagara Falls is such a massive project it may take a year to tear down and haul away the massive complex of buildings now on the site. Gregory Sutton of Environmental Conservation Department tells WNED News that "800,000 square feet of old industrial plant" and "60,000 yards of soil" need to be removed. "Under the Brownfield cleanup program we're assuring that any work in the site meets current environmental standards," Sutton said. ...
