NEWARK -- Concerned residents and community leaders met Thursday night to discuss ways to revitalize the Union Street corridor.

The meeting, hosted by the Newark and Ohio Departments of Development, sought input on plans to spruce up the area bordered by Union and Main streets, Grant Street and Raccoon Drive.
