Subject: | [CPEO-BIF] Fwd: National Conference Focusing on Redevelopment and Reuse of Closed Gas Station Sites, May 20 - 23, 2014, Orlando, FL |
Begin forwarded message: From: Michael Goldstein <MGoldstein@Goldsteinenvlaw.com> Date: December 3, 2013 12:18:12 PM PSTWe are very excited to announce what we believe is the first-ever national conference to focus exclusively on the redevelopment and reuse of closed gas station sites across the United States. The event is scheduled for May 20 - 23, 2014, in Orlando, FL, and will provide a forum for lenders, borrowers, developers, retailers, brokers, engineers, architects, attorneys, local government officials, regulators, Community Based Organizations, and EJ advocates to discuss the rapidly accelerating and increasingly profitable market for reuse of closed gas station properties. The program offers 28 educational sessions and ample opportunities to network as well as promote sites and services in support of sale, purchase, leasing, financing, cleanup, redevelopment and reuse of closed gas stations. Case studies will emphasize technical, design, financing, and legal strategies for resurrecting closed gas station sites for reuse as neighborhood banks, corner pharmacies, affordable/workforce housing, retail and commercial business, health care facilities, and public parks but will also explore their reintroduction into the ever-expanding retail fueling and convenience store sector.
