EPA’s Office of Brownfields and Land Revitalization (OBLR) will be hosting an Adobe Connect webinar on March 20^th from 2:30-4:00 PM eastern time. The webinar will provide an overview of the Brownfields Training, Research, and Technical Assistance (k6) Grant Guidelines/Request for Proposals (RFP) and include an opportunity for prospective applicants to ask questions. On February 20^th, OBLR published the k6 RFP. This year’s k6 grant RFP is soliciting proposals under the four following topic areas:

-Technical assistance to existing and prospective environmental workforce development and job training grantees
-Technical assistance on the integration of environmental justice and equitable development for brownfields-impacted communities
-Research on the benefits of brownfields redevelopment
-Technical assistance on brownfields financing and economic development strategies to brownfields-impacted communities.
