Tax capture plan approved for redevelopment at BASF property in Holland Township By Amy. Biolchini Holland Sentinel (MI) May 5. 2016 Developers with plans for the former BASF property at 470 and 471 Howard Ave. in Holland Township have gained the assistance of a tax capture plan to help fund environmental cleanup work at the contaminated Superfund site. The Holland Township Board of Trustees approved a 15-year brownfield redevelopment plan for the property with a unanimous 7-0 vote at its regular meeting Thursday, May 5. “There are lots of challenges that have impeded the ability to redevelop that property,” said John Byl, a partner at Warner Norcross & Judd.
