We are pleased to share with you the latest version of the Benefits Matrix from EPA’s RE-Powering America’s Land Initiative.  The matrix describes self-reported benefits for the 204 of the total 253 renewable energy land installations that the Initiative is tracking throughout the United States.  These installations were reported in our October 2017 Tracking Matrix and an update of that document is expected for April 2018.  While the RE-Powering Benefits Matrix is not a comprehensive assessment of all benefits associated with completed renewable energy projects on formerly contaminated lands, it represents the breadth and magnitude of benefits being realized across the country by those developing these types of installations.

 

The matrix can also be found on the RE-Powering America’s Land website (https://www.epa.gov/re-powering/re-powering-benefits-matrix).
