Riverview Brownfield Authority wants cleanup at McLouth to stop, violations addressed By Jackie Harrison-Martin Southgate News-Herald (MI) February 7, 2019 Until residents can be assured the air is not polluted and testing backs up that claim, Brian Webb, president of the Riverview Brownfield Authority, is asking that all cleanup activity at the former McLouth Steel plant in Trenton stops immediately. “I don’t want them to continue until all issues are addressed,” Webb said after procedure violations were reported there last month by the Michigan Department of Environmental Quality.
